Under a huge canopy of metallic lace, a “nave”, a “hall” and a “village”, operating separately or in a complementary way, will offer, as needed, 4,900 m² of exhibition space, auditoriums of 150, 300 and 800 seats, committee rooms for 600 people, a concert hall with a maximum capacity of 3,000 spectators. To this will be added outdoor exhibition space and restaurant area. An old power station and a water tower will be integrated into the construction.
The complex will be supplied with heat and fresh air by geothermal energy. It should be an energy producer through 600 m² of photovoltaic panels.
In reference to the business park of the creative banks of the Scheldt (centre of numerical and technological excellence), the esplanade, of 16,000m², is covered with a ground layout representing an electrical circuit. We can find a fountain of 450m² in the centre like a reflecting pool. LED projectors allow for modulation of effects and colour for night enhancement.
