Moving forward into the future while keeping its working-class roots is the synthesis of this ambitious centre of contemporary music at Aulnoye-Aymeries, on the site of the former SAMP (society of engineering workshops of Pont/Sambre). The PRMA Regional Centre of Contemporary Music is the city’s major cultural facility.
The roof of the Eden stage is 7,000 m² of roof and cladding that combine cultural modernity and industrial past based on the beautiful Eiffel structure of the building. Four months of intense work for a launch during the famous “Nuits Secrètes” festival, on 27, 28 and 29 July 2018.
This project revealed the perfect coordination between roofers working on scaffolding 12 metres in height and the design office optimising the layout of the slabs thanks to its high precision measurements.
