The new steering cabin of National Education

The board of education and the school inspectorate of the North left the dilapidated buildings of Vieux-Lille and the Saint-Michel district to invest a new building in Euralille 2.

Located between the Moulins district and the Centre and between Porte de Valenciennes and the Bois district, the 15,000m² building spreads over 4 floors, 250 linear metres of façades and has basement parking of 100 spaces It can accommodate more than 800 people, bringing together the DSDEN (Directorate of the National Education Departmental Services) and the Board of Education of the Lille Educational Authority.

The Board of Education is endowed with qualitative and elegant materials.  On the facade, there is a double skin of glass and anthracite bricks of the best effect, to fit perfectly in the extension of Euralille. A 20 metre cantilever bow was designed to identify the building.

During the construction of the building, the Group’s teams worked in synergy for the structural work as well as for waste treatment and non-inert land management.

This achievement highlights the Ramery Group’s ability to position itself on large group projects and to adapt its organisations to the utmost satisfaction of the client.
